High profile website www.oneforthegirls.org.nz was launched on 1 September 2008. The cervical cancer immunisation campaign included radio advertising, news items on TV3 and Prime, public launch, and print advertising. The client needed a website that not only reached a very young target market, but was high quality and robust enough to cope with high traffic. They also wanted to use modern ways to communicate with pre-teen and teen target market, so social networking marketing via Facebook and Bebo was the perfect medium. NetPotential built applications for both Facebook and Bebo to help promote and spread the word about the website and campaign.
Website project included:
- Flash animated intro page
- Custom youth-oriented design
- Blogs & articles, with 'comment approval' mechanism
- Custom and YouTube videos
- Audio file downloads
- Content managed website
- Custom webforms
- Facebook and Bebo applications
