If you're not sure what to ask for when you meet with a web designer (or internet marketing consultant), use this handy checklist to make sure you get a website with full potential. You'll also impress, and gain respect when you ask the right questions to get the best, after all, do you deserve anything less? You might also scare off some novices in the process!
Print this checklist, and take it along to your website consultation, noting down the answers to refer to later, or get expert advice on what you're being told. If you are unsure about what any of these items mean, please ask, we'd be happy to explain this list in much more detail.

- Where can I see examples of your previous work?
- Who are the largest companies you have done work for?
- Who are the smallest companies (or individuals) you have done work for?
- What separates you from the rest?
- What server technology do you use?
- What database (if any) do you use, and why?
- What do I need to do during the website build lifecycle?
- Will I be able to make changes to the site myself?
