The opening of cutting-edge contemporary art gallery, City Art Rooms in Lorne St on June 12, coincided with the launch of their new City Art Rooms website. The new gallery was opened by the already established Sanderson Contemporary Art gallery in Parnell, cementing its reputation as one of the pre-eminent and fastest growing galleries in Auckland.
After having built Sanderson Contemporary Art's current website, we were asked to create a new site to promote the new Lorne Street gallery space. The site has a fresh new look to reflefct the City Art Rooms brand. This new space will feature exhibitions which aim to provide an opportunity for people to be introduced to things they have never seen before.
The creation of City Art Rooms, which runs on the same codebase and database as Sanderson Contemporary Art, is an example of how we can adapt a clients current website to meet their future requirements.
Since its launch, the City Art Rooms website has had some great feedback from both clients and artists.
