We've just attended a Microsoft Unplugged event and have had a great introduction to some of the new web development tools available in Visual Studio 2008. We also discovered that it was RTM'd on Tuesday (20th Nov 2007). I've had a play with the Beta 2 version, and was impressed with the new HTML design surface, and the CSS support. We're looking forward to trying out this release. Re: Visual Studio 2008 RTM Hi Tim,Any plans to support 3.5 on the server? (the fact it includes 2.0 SP1 can't hurt)

Re: Visual Studio 2008 RTM Hi Kevin. Thanks for your request, this has been already rolled out to a few of the servers due to client demand. It's now been installed on your web server. Visit the control panel and you will see 3.5 in the .net framework version page as an option. I've been told that some people have experienced it breaking some bits of .net 2.0 code, so make sure you do some testing after switching your app to 3.5! This is available to install now on our US servers - if you are a client on our US servers and can't already see it, please let me know and I'll get it priorotised for install on your server. Clients on our NZ server will have to wait another week or so before this will be available.

I’ve been in the communications industry for 10 years and worked with several web development providers. NetPotential is the best provider that I have encountered.
