Tim Thomas founded NetPotential in Auckland in 2003. Since then we have launched more than 70 websites and apps for New Zealand businesses, health providers, associations and government agencies.

We have since rebuilt how we work. NetPotential is now Tim, an AI workforce, and a small group of contractors we have worked with for years. AI agents do the volume work of building, testing and monitoring. Tim makes the calls on scope, architecture and security, and reviews everything before it ships. You deal with Tim from the first call to launch.

What we promise

• A fixed price in writing before we start. It only changes if you ask for something extra, and we price that before doing it.
• A delivery date we agree together. We plan around it, and if anything threatens it you hear from us straight away, not on the day.
• A reply within one working day to every message.
• Straight advice. If something isn't worth building, we'll say so, even if it means a smaller job for us.

Why it works

A traditional agency of our output would need a room full of developers, and you would pay for every hour of it. Because the agents do the volume work, our prices are usually 30 to 55% below the hours calculation, and most projects reach a first release in about a month. Senior judgement is still the part that matters, and that is the part you get directly.
