How we get to a fixed price
Every quote starts as an hours table: what the job would take a traditional team, line by line. Then we price it for how we actually work. Here is a typical 12-page business website rebuild.
The table is illustrative, but it's the same shape as the one you'll get with your quote. Bigger or unusual projects are priced the same way. Ask us for yours.

Questions people ask
What does "fixed price" actually mean?
We agree the scope in writing before we start, and the price for that scope does not change. If you ask for something outside the scope, we price it separately and you decide whether to go ahead. You never get a surprise bill.
What does the "from" price depend on?
Mainly the number of page templates, how much content we move across, and any integrations (payments, CRMs, booking systems). After the free consultation you get the exact number in writing.
How do payments work?
Usually a deposit to book the work, then the balance in stages tied to things you can see working. For apps, each stage is priced up front and you commit to the next one only after seeing the last one live.
Who owns the code and the content?
You own your content, your domain and your data, and once the project is paid for, the design and content we created for you. The underlying software code stays ours and you get a perpetual licence to use it for your site. If you ever move on, we hand over a working copy of the site so it can be hosted elsewhere.
What happens if Tim is unavailable?
Every build is documented, in version control and on infrastructure we run, and we work with a small group of contractors we have known for years. Your project is never locked inside one person's head.
Is GST included?
No. All prices on this site are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST.
