WordPress 7 and AI, set up properly

WordPress 7.0 (May 2026) added AI to WordPress itself: connections to AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, a way for plugins to expose actions to AI agents, and an official adapter so outside agents can read and change your site. It is powerful, and it needs care, because WordPress has no built-in spending cap for each plugin using your AI key.

Recent WordPress work

For Rialto Channel we build and maintain a custom WordPress plugin and theme, now covered by 139 PHP checks and 50 browser tests. For MoveMe Health we moved their WordPress site and referral form off a failing server, rebuilt the form as a self-contained plugin that takes large PDF uploads in chunks, and redirected every old address.

When WordPress is the wrong choice

If you mainly sell products, Shopify or WooCommerce may suit you better. If the site rarely changes, a static site is faster and has almost nothing to hack. We will tell you which, even if it means a smaller job for us.
