Google Adwords ditches right-side ads in search results

It won't be long before desktop users begin to notice that the Google ads are no longer appearing on the right hand side of their search results.  Instead Google has decided to display four lucrative ads at the top of the search results, and another three ads at the bottom.

Microsoft is now prompting their Internet Explorer users to upgrade their browser versions, as of January 12, 2016 they will no longer be providing security updates or technical support for older versions of Internet Explorer.

Twitter no longer fully supports IE8

Twitter has dropped IE8 support, meaning that Twitter widgets in your site won't work when viewed in IE8.  Ben from Twitter Inc, says "the make-up of the web has changed and is now made up of a much more diverse array of physical devices. Thus we are also strongly considering dropping support for Internet Explorer 8 much sooner..."

Blackmarket Search Engine Optimisation Case Study

NetPotential launched the redeveloped blackmarket website in February 2010.  As part of this redevelopment, NetPotential spent time on implemeneting the lastest SEO techniques.  We were not only targeting the website, but the optimisation of particular wines so blackmarket has the best possible exposure to search engines.  This increases web traffic, brand exposure, and ultimately leads to higher sales.
